Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that rescues and shelters abandoned and abused dogs and cats with the goal of finding them new homes.

APR is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida

Event Attendance Information

Donation: A minimum $25 donation for each guest, including volunteers.

What's Included: Your $25 donation includes access to a delicious dinner buffet and an open bar.

Venue Details: McIsland is primarily an outdoor venue with uneven stepping stones and paver walkways. We recommend wearing flats and casual attire.

RSVP Instructions: Please ensure you RSVP for the total number of people in your party.

Parking Guidelines:

• Park along the flow of traffic on the road.
• Do not park on lawns, block driveways, or obstruct the road.
• Parking is limited, so we encourage using Uber.

Costume's encouraged!  Don't miss our annual Halloween Fundraiser, where we'll be mixing and mingling for a good cause. This event has become a tradition in our community, bringing together people of all ages to celebrate the spooky holiday while giving back to those in need.

We encourage you to get creative with your costumes - whether it's a classic witch or zombie outfit, or something completely out-of-the-box, the more unique the better!

The mission of the, “9463 Foundation for Florida’s Fallen Officers” is to: remember fallen heroes, educate the public, and support and assist the families who have lost loved ones while they were serving our community.

The foundation unwittingly began on August 10, 2007 at 1:20 AM, when Broward Sheriff’s Sergeant Christopher Reyka came upon two suspicious vehicles parked to the rear of a Walgreen’s drug store in Pompano Beach, Florida. Upon initiating an investigation, Sgt. Reyka was shot and killed by assailants who have yet to be brought to justice.

Chris, a former United States Marine, was a: good son, loyal brother, doting father, loving husband, committed friend and humble hero. Chris left behind a beautiful wife and four exceptional children; a family who has survived a horrific loss.
